Hey Parents!
What a GREAT first few weeks of school. I loved getting to know all of the kids! I am looking forward to a wonderful year.
I will send an informational email each week to let you know of the important events/assignments. Your child also has a calendar that is placed in the front of his/her Eagle. This is a great way for the students to be reminded of the assignments.
I was very impressed with the literature circles that the kids participated in yesterday. They were well prepared and ready to discuss the book!! The intern students from The University of Alabama loved listening to the students thoughts, feelings, and ideas about the book.
I sent your child home with a list of multiplication facts that he/she needs to be working on over the next several weeks. We made flash cards today in class. Please make sure that your child works on these facts for at least 10 minutes each night! It is very important that your child knows the facts before we begin our next multiplication unit. Please sign the attached form with the fact page to confirm that your child has been practicing the facts. Also, you can check my resources page for online multiplication games!
Also, please send in the signed communication and field trip permission forms! E-mail me if you have any questions! [email protected]
Have a great week!
